Background:


Daytona Prototype driver, Shane Lewis, has been racing since 1989. He has won multiple races in Grand-Am, the IMSA Supercar and SCCA Pro series, has podium finishes at Silverstone and Nurburgring in the American Le Mans Series and is a Daytona Endurance Champion. In 1998, Lewis was the Professional Sports Car Racing Rising Star award winner. He has acted as lead test driver for author Don Alexander's book “Performance Handling for the 90's”.

  • Drove the National Healing/Otto Motorsports Ford Taurus in qualifying for the August 11th NASCAR Winton Cup event at Watkin Glen

2001
  • Lead driver for the Callaway C12R entry in the ALMS GT Championship
